Jeni Cooper

Jeni is Vice President and Senior Lending Officer, Commercial Real Estate Lending Services, for Bankers Trust Company in Des Moines. She joined Bankers Trust in September 2004.

After graduating from Arizona State University in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in finance, Jeni worked for Wells Fargo (f/k/a Norwest Bank) for 14 years. During her time there, she served in a number of roles: lender and manager for commercial real estate, manager of residential construction lending, community development (CRA) officer, loan portfolio auditing, and credit analysis.

Jeni is on the boards of United Way of Central Iowa, Neighborhood Finance Corporation and H.O.M.E ., Inc. She is also an appointed member of the Fifth Judicial Nominating Committee, and was previously active on the City of Des Moines Neighborhood Revitalization Board and the Polk County Housing Trust Fund Board.

In 2008, Jeni earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and remains a member of the both the Iowa CCIM Chapter and National CCIM Institute.
