One Iowa in the News: Chet Culver’s former spokesman and One Iowa Executive Director to become Obama’s Iowa political director

Troy Price, the executive director of One Iowa, has been hired as President Obama’s reelection campaign Iowa political director.
Price is also a former spokesman for former Gov. Chet Culver. One Iowa is the state’s largest civil rights organization focused on gay and lesbian issues in the state.
“This was not an easy decision, or one that I made lightly, but I could not turn down the opportunity to help re-elect the President and move our country forward,” Price said.
Calla Rongerude, a public education strategist for One Iowa, will work as interim executive director while the group’s board conducts a national search.
