Huffington headlines Planned Parenthood event

Arianna Huffington of The Huffington Post will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Planned Parenthood of the Heartland Annual Event.

Huffington is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, a nationally syndicated columnist and author of 12 books. She is also co-host of Left, Right & Center, public radio’s popular political roundtable program.

In 2006, she was named to the Time 100, Time magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people. In 2009, she was named as one of the most influential women in media by Forbes magazine.

The event will be held at the historic Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines:

Tuesday, May 4th
5 p.m. – Reception: $50
6 p.m. – Dinner with special guest Arianna Huffington (limited seating): $150
7:30 p.m. – Keynote address only: $40
