"Stand proud, vote proud." That was the slogan of the day in Davenport on Monday, as "One Iowa" was in town.

One Iowa hosted the voter education event in downtown Davenport. The gay marriage group is touring across Iowa all this week to share the importance of the freedom to marry.

Speakers at the event included Davenport City Council member Bill Boom, and area reverends, Rich Hendricks and Ron Quay.
