The political wing of the Iowa Family Policy Center (IFPC) has raised alarming sums of money to push their agenda of hate onto the airwaves and into our homes. With still over three months to go until the November elections the IFPC has already raised nearly $90,000 to smear pro-equality candidates and demonize lesbian and gay families. And that’s what One Iowa is here for - to create an environment that welcomes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals into Des Moines, and the state as a whole, to live and work.

In recognition of the role that PFLAG plays in the fight for equality, One Iowa has teamed with PFLAG National to provide ongoing support for PFLAG chapters across the state. Over the next year, we will work to build, bolster and engage PFLAG chapters from Sioux City to the Quad Cities and Dubuque to Ames.
